Monjoh’s Chilli Sauce – Smokey Mild
Our smokey mild chilli sauces are manufactured using Serrano chillies, with added aqueous real smoke. The Serrano pepper originated in the Mexican states of Puebla and Hidalgo, in the mountainous regions. The name of the pepper, serrano, actually is a reference to the mountains (sierras) of those areas.
The Serrano chilli’s scoville heat units range between 10000 – 23000 SHU, and the flavour can be characterized as bright, vegetable and very green, with a nice level of heat for general cooking.

Vegetable Oil, Vinegar, Egg, Salt, Pepper, Thickener ( E412, E410), Cane Sugar, Spice, Tomato Concentrate, Mustard powder, Cayenne Salt, Caramel, Serrano Chilli, Dried fruits, Garlic, Water, Wheat Flour, Colourant (E129) preservatives (sodium benzoate E211), potassium sorbate (E202), Hickory smoke.
